About Doc Palmere, Dual Ph.D.
Doc is 4th of 12 children and grew up in Edison's lab town, West Orange, NJ. Doc was a child prodigy as a distance runner, loved running cross country and marathons, and attended college on several athletic scholarships. Doc was the first ever to complete a dual or double PhD at the University of Nebraska-Lincon in Educational Psychology, and Curriculum and Instruction. Doc uses both doctorates every day as he designs programs for school age kids that inspire, motivate and empower.
In 1987, Doc created Space Voyage. Since the program began, hundreds of thousands of students have experienced the program. Space Voyage Summer Space Camp is currently offered for six weeks each summer.
Since that time Doc has learned he is a bit of an educational entrepreneur, creating other programs and other business interests including online directories, an SEO consultantcy, hosting groups and more. Doc's current efforts include virtual learning, building custom software to serve his internet needs, and helping one million students to become webmasters.
Doc started building web sites in 1996 to serve Space Voyage, USA The Games (an Olympic Sim) and his embroidery imports from Tai Pei, Taiwan, ROC. In 2000, out of frustration with internet providers, Doc began studying the Internet with plans to become a host himself. In 2004, he was one of the first Hosting Resellers in the USA, Since 2004, his hosting services have grown four times and is presently an international hosting provider, with a strong team in the USA, UK and Thailand.
